The Alliance directly contracts with health care providers to treat injured workers whose employers are covered by one of 5 risk pools. Collectively, Alliance members provide workers compensation coverage or claims services to about 500,000 public employees in Texas, including schools, cities, counties, water districts, community centers and other public entities.
The Alliance is focused on contracting with top quality health care providers, and it shows in our results! We consistently deliver excellent outcomes, as measured by total medical costs, return-to-work outcomes, patient satisfaction, and patient physical/mental functioning.
We are able to achieve these results by only contracting with the best health care providers, and fostering a cooperative relationship between providers, adjusters and employers that focuses on getting injured workers back to health as soon as possible.
